The National Competition Commission (NCC) is Vietnam’s principal merger authority. Under the purview of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the NCC assumes the functions of the overseeing the merger control regime and imposing fines and remedies formerly discharged by the Vietnam Competition and Consumer Authority (VCCA) and the Vietnam Competition Council (VCC), respectively.
